⚙️ How It Works

Authentication & Session — Users log in via the 42 API. After authentication, you’re redirected to the Profile view. You’ll be automatically logged out after 10 minutes of inactivity or on manual logout.

Information are fetched from 42 and served at realtime to avoid cost of Database on App Platform. A Redis store (inside the Node container) is used to store cookies and sessions, limited to max 100 active users at a time and 10 minutes of idle timeout.
💰 Hosting & Cost — This project is hosted on Digital Ocean's App Platform:

Feature Gallery

Check Status

With check status it is possible to see users' projects, last login/logout from 42 API to show exact time and date and also to monitor and get notified by email/browser when they arrive at school.

Find Online Peers

Will show logged in user or recently logged in (less then 7 days) that are around your level. But is roughly calculated and might show more users then expected. This feature is mostly targeted for students level 10+ to find peers for evaluation for Outer Core projects. Which will show a tick sign who is in outer core and a x sign if they are level 10+ but still need to pass the exam. Some features might be available only for Students with level 10+

Advance Search

Select the Campus(Only Active Campuses are shown), level should be 0 and Upper level 10+ to show all the users and their rank in selected Campus. But if you want to find peers from a level choose a level and Upper level is set by default to level+1 or you can select to show desired level.
For Piscine only from level 5 is allowed, so if choosen 0 will be defaulted to 5 only to know Students with higher level.

All Users

Listed all users from Selected Campus and from selected Level with the User at top and their Rank at selected level or at School.

Check Projects

Click on Check Projects to see on which project your peers are currently working and since when.
